British GT Championship

For many people the GT race is the highlight of the whole weekend.

This year there quite a few entries with people racing a wide variety of cars. Here are a few of the cars.
Picture Description
This car is a TVR T400R with a 4 litre capacity. Do TVR use donor engines? No they build there own ones from scratch in factory in Blackpool.
Noble M12GTO3R, which has a 2.5 litre turbo engine.
Ultima GTR, with an amazing 6 litre engine.
Porche 911 GT3-RS with a 3.6 litre engine.
Chevrolet Covette C5, with a 5.7 litre engine.
A Ferrari 360 GT, with a 3.6 litre engine.

There was quite a bit over competition between the different teams
At the Knicker Brook chicane the cars looked like they would all collide, but somehow they all came through.
This picture shows a Morgan Aero 8 chasing a Vauxhall VX220.
Here three cars are fighting for position, they can't get much closer can they?.
Obviously they can get even closer.
These two cars were fighting for position at the front of the pack for most of the race.
Whoops, someone managed to miss the chicane.
A Marcos Mantis is chasing a Ferrari 360.

As with all races where there is fierce competition, some of the cars didn't managed to run the whole race distance.
At Cascades there was some drama... don't cars normally face the way they are racing?
The car slid off on the exit of cascades.
I am not sure what happened to this Vauxhall VX220.
