Class 2 - cars engines around 1600cc such as a Darrian T9 (car 33) a Ford Fiesta XR2i.

Kevin Jones / John Davies in car 43 a 1997cc Escort RS
Class 3 - more powerful cars such as a 1900cc Peugeot 309 Gti (car 70) a 2000cc Ford Focus RWD (car63).

Class 4 - cars designed to win rallies, usually with 2000cc or more and many of the cars have 4WD such as the 2500cc MG Metro 6R4 (car 1) or the 2000cc Subaru Impreza S10 (car 4).
