Cars : Oulton Park - Monday 17th April 2006

Each class of car has its own challenges. Some cars such as AVO Ginettas are identical so the drivers need to get more out of the car to win the race. Other cars such as the VWs can be heavily modified by the race team engineers. Racing isn't just about getting from the start to the finish line as fast as possible without incident. It involves preparation long before the race starts so that when qualifying starts all the teams need to be ready and at the right race circuit with a race prepared car. This weekend one of the drivers went to the wrong race circuit, missed qualifying and had to start from the back of the grid.
