People - Judges - Deborah
Deborah was a prophetess. She summoned Barak and told him to march with 10,000 men to Mount Tabor.
Barak said he would only go if Deborah went with him. Deborah went with Barak to Mount Tabor and the Lord routed Sisera and all his chariots.
Sisera fled on foot to the tent of Jael Heber's wife. She gave him something to drink and hid him. When Sisera was asleep she hammered a tent peg through his temple killing him.
When Barak arrived Jael showed him his enemy's body. From that time Jabin King of Canaan was weakend.
Deborah was the fourth judge of Israel (Judges 4 to Judges 5 v31).
