People - Ruth

"...Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God."

(Ruth chapter 1 verse 16)

Ruth was a Moabitess. She married one of the sons of Elimelech and Naomi. Her husband died and she left her people behind and moved to Israel with Naomi.

She married Boaz and became the great-grand-mother of David.
