Family Members - Tilly the hamster

I first saw Tilly at Dawn's flat. Despite being a Syrian hampster she was quite good at escaping. From the picture above you can see she was quite adapt at climbing things such as the stairs.

The first time she escaped was in Dawn's flat. While she was exploring the flat she managed to nibble on some potatoes and some candles. She was soon returned to her cage and a more balanced diet.

The second time she escaped was in the house. Somehow she managed to get upstairs then get under the floor boards. It wasn't much fun lying on the bathroom floor trying to tempt her out with food.

On Wednesday March 7th 2007 she became very ill and died (probably of wet tail). We buried her under the apple tree on Saturday March 10th.
