Friday 27th
Dawn not well, I took her to A & E and in the early hours of Saturday she was admitted to hospital.

Tuesday 24th
Spotted the tanker RFA Bayleaf in Wallasey Docks.

Sunday 22nd
We spent the morning in hospital because Dawn wasn't well.

Saturday 14th
Visited Beeston Castle. Molly didn't seem very impressed with the ruins and cried until we started walking back towards the car.

Wednesday 11th
M53 closed because a burst water main flooded the motorway and then the water started freezing.
Went walking near Wrexham. The journey there took longer than usual due to the traffic chaos. There was less snow than last week, though what was left had frozen and melted several times forming neve. The two peaks at the RHS of the picture are the ones we climbed last week above the horseshoe pass.

Saturday 7th
Visited Dawns sister Jayne.

Thursday 4th
My parents took us out for a pub lunch. The first pub we went to wouldn't serve us because Molly was with us!

Wednesday 3rd
I drove to the Horse Shoe Pass and used my winter climbing gear (crampons and an ice axe). If you look closely at the picture there is a guy using a canoe!
