I saw the first of the Type 45 destroyers, HMS Daring.

I heard that several years ago the ferry that we travelled to the Isle of Man was hit by a freak wave and it lost its bow door. It is probably just as well that I didn't know about this when I went on holiday!
Saturday 17th
Did the 15 mile Wirral Coastal Walk for charity.
Thursday 14th
Finished updating my photos of Oulton Park.
Wednesday 13th
Saw the fast ferry Manannan at Liverpool for berthing trials.
Friday 8th
Back from our holiday... with suitcases of clothes to wash.
Monday 4th
Start of our holiday in the Isle of Man. We sailed there on Snaefell. The crossing started smoothly but it got rather rough towards the Isle of Man.
Saturday 2nd
Purchased a new microwave oven... the old one had started making banging noises!
