Sunday - 1st September
The Belgium Grand Prix took place at Spa. It seemed that the F1 car were finally getting a bit more reliable until the last few minutes of the race when several engines blew up. Fisichellos Jordan was the most spectacular when the Honda engine blew a huge flame shot out from the back of the car billowing smoke.
As expected the Ferraris got a 1 - 2, with Michael Schmacher winning his tenth race in a season and his team mate Rubbens Barrichello coming second.

I Took a day off work, instead of relaxing and putting my feet up I started work on my drive. A small jungle of weeds was growing between the paving stones I decided to sort them out. I started spacing the paving stones apart so that I all cement the paving stones together to make it difficult for any weeds to grow.
Strangely enough after a day of doing this, I didn't feel like going to the gym in the evening. I decided to have a bath instead.
Saturday - 7th September
I did some more work on my drive. I hadn't realised how long and wide my drive is.
Sunday - 8th September
After church I did something different no I didn't work on my drive. I went to one of my cousins houses to celebrate the ruby (40th) wedding anniversary of an uncle and aunt of mine.
Monday - 9th September
I was off work and working on my drive. I was making good progess until early afternoon when it started getting really dark. I started cementing the paving stones in place as soon as the rain came down. When I ran out of concrete I went to DIY store to get some more, after all the it won't rain for long. By time I returned the rain was really heavy and the rain didn't stop until some time in the night!
Tuesday - 10th September
Back to work.

Friday - 13th September
Immediately after work, instead of going to the gym I did some more work on my path. I had to stop just before eight as it was getting too dark.
Saturday - 14th September
You have guessed it... I worked on my path again.
I briefly went to the balloon festival in Birkenhead. Unfortunately my timing was off and I was only in time to see a hot air balloon on the floor ready to be rolled up.
In the evening I went to my parents house for tea.
Sunday - 15th September
Italian Grand Prix. Barrichello only just beat his team mate Michael Schumacher and a surprisingly fast Eddie Irvine got Jaguar 3rd place.
Monday - 16th September
The gym I go to was closed for the week. No I didn't spend the week eating fried food with chips. I visited a local DIY store and started insulating the loft of my house.

What does a Rainbow mean? The meaning anyone who has been to Sunday School will remember is God's promise to Noah not to destroy the earth with another flood. In this case it was a visit by a ship with a rainbow painted on its bow, the Green Peace's flagship the Rainbow Warrier visited Liverpool. Obviously this isn't the original ship to go by the name as that sank several years ago in Aukland Harbour, New Zealand.

Friday - 20th September
I purchased more polystyrene to insulate my loft. I didn't realise how big the loft is!
Saturday - 21st September
On reading the local newspaper I discovered that the yellow ship the Lindarosa was the third ship being put on the Liverpool to Belfast route.
Sunday - 22nd September
My parents visited.
Monday - 23rd September
The gym was open again. Strangely some of the weights felt heavier than I remember them being.
Tuesday - 24th September

I started getting back into the swing of going to the gym.
Thursday - 26th September
Friday - 27th September
I took a day off work so that I could finish off cementing the paving stones in my drive together.

The liner Europa, no I didn't go on a cruise, I just took a picture when the liner arrived in the Mersey earlier in the Summer.
Saturday - 28th September
Each winter my house seems to be draughty. This year I decided to do something about it. I have been putting insulation into my loft every time the weather is bad. I have now insulated half of one side of my roof.
Sunday - 29th September
The American (Indianapolis) Grand Prix. I had a very busy day planned, so I set the video to record the race.
