Monday - 31th March
At lunch time I purchased a vehicle excise duty disc for my car from the Liverpool postoffice. It cost 160 pounds!

Sunday - 30th March
I cut back most of the undergrowth around the pond in the garden. My parents paid a brief visit and my Dad replaced the missing nut and bolt on my lawn mower.

Saturday - 29th March
Morning seemed to arrive earlier than usual. I did my weekly shop. I put together the paperwork for my vehicle licence application road tax and went to the post office. Unfortunately the post office had closed a few minutes earlier - half day closing! I delivered some advanced motorists magazines and cleared out most of the junk from my green house.
In evening my parents came for tea. I cooked a mild curry. We talked about my uncles funeral. Apparently he had a good send off, the church building was full and there was a police escort to the cemetery.

Friday - 28th March
After work I had a major workout at the gym. Hopefully I won't suffer too much tomorrow.

Thursday -27th March
My parents phoned me in the evening to let me know they were arriving back in Liverpool after their travels to Ireland. My Dad couldn't talk long as I could hear the announcement advising drivers to proceed to their vehicles.

Wednesday - 26th March
A busy day, I managed to go to work, the gym and musicians... I slept well afterwards!

Tuesday - 25th March
I went to work later than usual. No I didn't over-sleep, I wanted to see my parents off as they were catching the superseacat II ferry to Ireland for my uncles funeral.

In the evening I went to the advanced motorists meeting. The meeting was about the history of a local piece of woodland.

Monday - 24th March
I must have been too active over the weekend as I didn't feel like getting out of bed in the morning. In the evening I had a quicker than usual workout at the gym.

Sunday - 23rd March
I got up early to watch the Malaysian Grand Prix. It was quite strange seeing Renaults on the first row of the starting grid. There was quite a bit of drama on and off the track. On the second corner Michael Schmacher ran into Trulli's Renault and several other cars hit the debris. With so many teams having different strategies it was hard to work out how everyone was doing. It certainly wasn't boring.
After church I cut the grass in my garden for the first time this year. Somehow a bolt on the lawnmower came undone so I will have to purchase a replacement.
I was sad to hear that a British Tornado had been hit by a patriot missile.

Saturday - 22nd March
I was shocked to hear that two British helicopters based on the carrier Ark Royal crashed.
My parents are travelling to Ireland next week to go to my uncles funeral. I think they will be travelling on Diamont.

We celebrated my Dad and brothers birthday (a day early) by going out for a Chinese meal.

Friday - 21st March
The 2nd Gulf war seems to be in full flow. US, British and Australian forces have invaded from the south. A US helicopter carrying British troups crashed into the desert in Kuwait.

Thursday - 20th March
I finally managed to purchase birthday presents for my brother and my Dad.
We had homegroup at my house and this time I didn't have a carrier bag full of junk under the settee!

Wednesday - 19th March
It was strange going to work know that things are starting to happen in the Persian Gulf.
Musicians was a bit different this week. We adjusted some of the stage volume levels to help the singers.

Tuesday - 18th March
War seems to be imminant in Iraq.

I tidied up of my web site and removed some of the older pictures.

Monday - 17th March
There was a lot of name calling at the United Nations today over the situation with Iraq.

Sunday - 16th March
There was a press conference in the Azores Islands (in the middle of the North Atlantic) and it looks like there will be war in Iraq.
I still can't take in the news that one of my uncles died unexpectedly.

Saturday - 15th March
My developed photographs arrived. I did my washing and did my weekly shop. I finished putting up the plaster board in my loft. After eating lunch I felt tired, maybe it is something I have done?
What is big and yellow?

In the evening I had some sad news :-(

Friday - 14th March
At work I fought my way through a small mountain of paper work and submitted the task to the Database Administrators.
In the evening I let out all my frustation at the gym and managed to lift the full stack of weights on the calf stretch. I had never lifted more than 3/4 of the stack before.

Thursday - 13th March
I purchased another piece of plaster board on the way home from work. Hopefully this will be the last one I need to finish off my loft.
Later in the evening I went to home group, it was at someone else's house so I didn't have to rush around tidying my house.

Wednesday - 12th March
After musicians I felt so tired it was about 10pm when I got home and I was asleep in minutes.

Tuesday - 11th March
Today I took my car to the garage. The passenger side electric window is now fixed so it shouldn't get stuck in the down position again. The mechanics couldn't find anything wrong with my clutch pedal so I still don't know why the pedal occasionally sticks in the down position.
I watched the "X men" DVD that one of my brothers lent me. It was strange to see captain picard in a wheel chair instead of the captains chair.

Monday - 10th March
Prince Charles officially handed over HMS Bronington the minesweeper he commanded in 1976.

Sunday - 9th March
I got up early (b4 6am) to watch the grand prix before going to church. It was a little tough getting up early after last nights late night (I arrived home somewhere around 1am).
In the afternoon I put up some more plaster board in the loft. I will need to purchase one more plaster board and then the job should be done.
I posted off my latest film. Now I just have to patiently wait for the postman to return with the pictures.

Saturday - 8th March
The second qualifying session for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Australia. I set my video for the race... 2am is a little late to be watching a race start.
My parents celebrated their joint 60th birthdays with friends and relatives. I took a few pictures...

Friday - 7th March
I was really late arriving at the gym. As I was going through my workout I noticed more and more of the equipment was getting put away. I decided to treat myself to a take-away meal, I had sweet and sour chicken with fried rice.
The first qualifying session for the 2003 season Grand Prix at Australia.

Thursday - 6th March
I didn't have to do any vacuuming today as this week there is a meeting at the church building so I won't be having visitors.

Wednesday - 5th March
I left work really early so that I could fit in a workout at the gym and musicians rehersal.

Tuesday - 4th March
After work I caught up with my ironing.

Monday - 3rd March
After work I had something extra to do before having a workout at the gym. There was a problem with the projector at church. After a few minutes investigation the situation was resolved and the sound was coming through the PA.
The singer Anastacia had a major operation, hopefully she will quickly recover so we can hear more of her music.

Sunday - 2nd March
I watched a program explaining the rule changes for this years Grand Prixs. Just a week to go to Australia.
The final day of the rally of Turkey. One of the rally driver did some emergency roadside repairs. The shock absorber had burst through the bulkhead so his solution was to put a large rock in the hole and rest the shock absorber on the rock.
I trimmed some of the branches on the apple tree in my garden as the branches were getting too low.

Saturday - 1st March
Spring is fast approaching, daffodils are popping up all over my garden and the frogs have come out of hibernation.
The rally of Turkey is in progress. There were several amusing scenes such as the car crossing the finishing line on its roof! Nobody was hurt though I don't suppose the mechanics were very pleased.
In the evening I went to a relations for a meal.
