Saturday 31st
I know the race was a week ago, but here are the New Brighton Promenade results

Friday 30th
It took me longer to get to work than usual as a large lorry was lying on its side and the police had closed the road.

Wednesday 28th

Tuesday 27th
My parents came round and afterwards we went to the advanced motorist meeting.

Monday 26th
My parents came round to my house and removed more paint from the bathroom.

Sunday 25th
I removed some paint off the bathroom wall in preparation for the new tiles.

Saturday 24th
I finally managed to finish updating my web site with the Oulton Park pictures. This looks to be a busy weekend as I going out for breakfast, then I am going to watch a rally car race and I have plenty of jobs to be getting on with in the bathroom.

Monday 19th
My Mum and an Aunt house sat for the morning as I had a delivery coming and I didn't know what time it would arrive. I took the afternoon off work as the delivery hadn't arrived by 12 noon. Fairly early in the afernoon all the bits and pieces arrived... so the big bedroom now looks like a bathroom warehouse.

Sunday 18th
I went with my brother to Oulton Park to see the cars roaring round the race track. I spotted some friends from work on the other side of the circuit. I took lots of pictures, but it will take me a while to get them all sorted out. This chap's VW spun off the track and caught fire, but the marshalls quickly delt with the incident.
My bath should be arriving tomorrow. Relatives are house sitting for the morning and I plan to take the afternoon off work.

Tuesday 13th
I picked up the bathroom tiles on the way home, sixteen boxs of tiles take up a lot of space! I carried the tiles upstairs and afterwards I felt warm.

Monday 12th
I took the day off work to look for bathroom wall tiles. My Mum came with me to help choose. My lunchtime we had selected the tiles and paid for them.

Sunday 11th
Someone from church offered me there old oven as they are getting a new kitchen. This could be a huge bonus for me as I have a small kitchen and my oven has an uncanny resemblence to a metal phone box.
As the weather was dry I cut the grass in the back garden. In preparation to cutting the grass I chased all the frogs out of harms way. While I was feeling my way through a long patch of grass I found a frog, it jumped and so did my blood pressure.
I had another go at a scene in a computer game called homeworld 2. I had forgotten how difficult it was.

Saturday 10th
I took some more rubble from my garden to the tip.

Friday 9th
I was surprised to hear that there are plans to extend Seaforth Docks so that even bigger container ships can berth.

Thursday 8th

Wednesday 7th

Tuesday 6th

Monday 5th
At lunch time I saw two very different ships heading out to sea, the hospital ship MV Anastasis and HMS Bulwark (L15).

Sunday 4th
I went on a tour of the hospital ship, MV Anastasis.

A light aircraft crashed into the River Mersey and unfortunately the two people on board died.

Saturday 3rd

Friday 2nd
I did my shopping on the way home from work as the gym was closed this week.
