Tuesday 31st
I came home and had a pleasant surprise. My Dad was just finishing grouting the remaining wall tiles.
Monday 30th
The last of the tiles are on the bathroom wall!
Sunday 29th
I grouted all the visible tiles then I went out for a meal (I didn't wear the same clothes).
Saturday 28th
My Dad came round and put up some more tiles. There are now tiles on four walls in the bathroom, the job is almost finished.
Friday 27th
Thursday 26th
Wednesday 25th
Musicians... this time I remembered to go (last week I forgot... ooops).
Tuesday 24th
I purchased some more grout as we have quite a few tiles to do in my bathroom. When I arrived home I discovered that more tiles had "appeared" on the bathroom wall.
Monday 23rd
While I was at work my Dad finished plastering in the bathroom.
Sunday 22nd
After church I removed the remaining paint from the bathroom walls with one of my Dad's angle grinders. Even the angle grinder struggled to remove a patch woodchip wallpaper. When I emerged from the bathroom in a cloud of dust I felt like having a shower. There was a slight technical difficulty

I made do with a good wash and looked forward to the day when my new bath in plumbed in.
Saturday 21st
I did a few hours of overtime at work then I came home to work on my bathroom. My Dad came round to do tidy up the plastering. I discovered that the original plaster was rather loose and the job grew.
Friday 20th
Thursday 19th
Wednesday 18th
There was a thunder and lightning while I was at work. Fortunately it stopped before it was time for me to travel home.
I took a picture of one of the building sites in Liverpool.
Tuesday 17th
Monday 16th
Sunday 15th
After the church meeting we had a barbecue.
Saturday 14th
I went with a few friends to get measured for the wedding in October.
In the evening I went to a barbecue at my parents abode.
Friday 13th
Thursday 12th
There was a thunderstorm in the afternoon while I was at work. At least this time the ligthning didn't strike the building. A few years ago a lightning strike set off the fire alarm and we all had to go outside in the middle of the thunderstorm.
Wednesday 11th
Tuesday 10th
Despite wearing my cagoul while walking from the car park to work I managed to get wet again. Apparently it is not as waterproof as it used to be.
Monday 9th
When I came home it was a pleasant surprise to see that my Dad had tiled most of the second wall in the bathroom.
Sunday 8th
Saturday 7th
It was amazingly hot today. In the morning I cleaned my car's engine.
In the afternoon we did quite a bit of work on my bathroom. By the end of the day the new sink was in place.
Friday 6th
I did a few odd jobs around the house like cutting the grass and getting the shopping.
Thursday 5th
I grouted the remaining tiles on the first wall. I removed a few of the old tiles in the shower area.
In the evening meeting at the church building I had trouble getting the base guitar to come through the PA. I don't think anyone in the congregation noticed as the bass was still coming through the bass monitor. I think the problem is the DI box so we should be able to get things sorted for the Sunday meeting.
Wednesday 4th
I purchased some ear defenders as I was fed up with the noise of the angle grinder when removing paint from the wall. The tiles on one wall now reach from the floor to the ceiling. The wall is almost complete apart from a few tiles around the window.
Tuesday 3rd
I grouted the tiles my Dad did yesterday. My Dad started cutting tiles to put around the window. I removed more paint from the next wall as we want the tiles to be firmly attached. My Dad installed the new oven and the old one was bannished to my front garden.
Monday 2nd
I am off work this week to sort out my bathroom. By the end of the day we had covered most of a wall with tiles.

Later in the evening some friends brought round an oven. Someone I know at church had a new kitchen fitted and they gave me the old oven. It is certainly smaller and newer than then one I had.
Sunday 1st
In the afternoon I went to a barbecue to celebrate an aunts birthday. The weather was amazingly good, just like Summer is supposed to be like.
