Thursday 30th

Wednesday 29th
We had a wedding rehersal in the evening.

Tuesday 28th
At work I was told that I am no longer at risk.

Monday 27th
We had a staff meeting at work and we learnt that there would be about 50 redundancies.

Sunday 26th
The first Chinese Grand Prix took place in Shanghai. There was drama off the track and on it. The Minardi and Jordan teams were busy trying to work out how to get engines for next year as they had already designed new chassis's for next seasons ford engine. On the track there were quite few incidents. Rubbens Barrichello won the race for Ferrari, but his team mate Michael Schumacher was involved in several incidents and only finished twelfth.

Saturday 25th
In the evening we went out for a meal at a Indian restaurant for one of my friends stag night. I had a chicken madras curry and it was hot! I finished it but my lips were tingling afterwards.

Friday 24th
I removed a small tree and the bricks that had been part of the greenhouse base.

Thursday 23rd
I took my old bathroom suite to the tip. I cut the bath into pieces to fit it in my car. I moved the paving stones that had been the floor of the greenhouse.

Wednesday 22nd
I did some shopping on the way to the gym. Musicians.

Tuesday 21st
I gave my greenhouse away. When I was clearing out the greenhouse I discovered a sleepy newt. Now the greenhouse has gone, I will have to decide what to do with the extra space. I will probably pave the area.

Monday 20th
I am off work for a week. I plan to relax and also get some jobs done around the house.
I finally finished downloading service pack II of Windows XP.

Sunday 19th
I finally managed to cut the grass in the garden. It took quite a while as the longer the grass is the longer it takes, especially when I often have to escort frogs back to the pond.

Saturday 18th
I had been planning to go on a walk but it was raining so instead I started sanding the skirting board in the bathroom.

Friday 17th
Ford announced they are pulling out of F1 at the end of the season. This is bound to impact the Jaguar team who are managed by Ford and the teams that have Ford engines (Jordan and the Minardi).

Thursday 16th

Wednesday 15th
Musicians. I took a picture of the church pastor to put on the church web site.
It was a bit embarrassing for the Queens' security when "Batman and Robin" broke into Buckingham Palace to protest about their rights.

Tuesday 14th
It was seriously windy. At lunch time I saw a tug help the Isle of Man SeaCat leave the berth and shortly after the tug helped the SuperSeaCat II berth. Normally the ferrys berth unaided.

Monday 13th
After my week away from the gym I didn't seem to have much energy.

Sunday 12th
While the Italian (Monza) grand prix taped I did some gardening. Grass was too wet to cut, so I reduced a small tree to a stump. Once the gree house is removed I plan to dig up the stump.
Later in the afternoon my parents visited. My Mum collected a large bag of cooking apples from the apple tree in my garden.

Saturday 11th
I was glad I had the barbecue last week because today wasn't exactly barbecue weather (unless you like rain showers).

Friday 10th
I heard on the news that Ivan a category 5 (the strongest) hurricane seemed to be heading for Jamaica.

Thursday 9th
We had a prayer meeting at the church building.

Wednesday 8th
Musicians. Despite not going to the gym I still struggled to get there on time.

Tuesday 7th

Monday 6th
Instead of going straight to work, I took the "scenic" route. I had promised to drop some PA documentation off and the person was going to London later in the day.
As the gym is closed this week I did a few press ups at home. After doing 40 quick pressups I had "rubber" arms.

Sunday 5th
I watched the world rally drivers roaring around gravel tracks. I felt sorry for one of the Pegeuot drivers, his car was stuck in fourth gear.
One of the ships based in the Albert Dock complex was on TV in a program about the American civil war.

Saturday 4th
I had a barbecue at my house in the afternoon. Despite the sky being overcast in the morning, the sky cleared and we had bright sunlight. In fact it was so hot that people started moving into the shade.

Friday 3rd
One of my aunts if flying across the pond to visit relations. On her travels she will be visiting my youngest brother.

Thursday 2nd
While I was having a walk at lunchtime I saw "Walk the Plank" make a dramatic entry to the Canning Dock. They came in crooked and scaped along the dock entrance. Not the ideal way to arrive at port, especially if you like the paintwork on the side of your ship.
