I took Friday + Monday off work to give me a long weekend.

I went in search of a new shower door. My Dad told me a few weeks ago he had seen some in a shop in Liverpool. I found the shop and they did have some nice shower doors, but I didn't fancy carrying one all the way back to the office. I will have to make transport arrangements.

On the way home I purchased a new halogen head light bulb. In the evening I fitted it to the car, which took as little while as it gets dark about 4.30pm at this time of year.
Sunday 21st
When I was driving I noticed it seemed darker than usual. I checked my cars headlights and discovered that the passenger side one had stopped working.

I was given a bed, so I borrowed my Dad's boat trailer to transport the bed to my house.

One of the computer at work crashed in the afternoon and it was only working properly just before 5pm. Guess who stayed late at work?

I was standing in for someone else at work. By early afternoon I had emptied their in-tray.

At musicians I was standing at the back of the hall listening to the music when I noticed that the paint looked a little worn on the daydo rail. It must be coincidental that I often lean on the wall there.

I did a some more digging and started burying the land drain.
My parents returned from their Mediterranean Cruise later in the night.

It was dark and stormy most of the day. I took this picture at lunchtime!.
Later in the afternoon I discovered that the testers have passed the work. Hurrah, so I won't have to come to work on the weekend!

At work I submitted a piece of work that people have been working on since March to the test department.
Monday 8th
MY birthday. I went out for a meal at a relations.

I dug a trench in the garden to extend the land drain.
Saturday 6th
In the morning I went to a wedding.
Friday 5th
Bon fire night. Some of us lit sparklers as part of the celebrations.
