Thursday 31st
I went to visit a friend who was staying near Birmingham.
Wednesday 30th
Summer must almost be here as ships are starting to visit the Albert Dock again.
Tuesday 29th
I am off work this week so purchased some wall tiles and adhesive for the kitchen.

Climbed Moel Famau with some of the men from church.

At lunch time I went for a longer than usual walk. I went past the Albert Dock, past Customs House past numerous riverside apartments. I walked as far as the lock gate to the marina. I thought that was far enough as I didn't want to be late getting back to the office.

I measured my kitchen after all the changes we have made in preparation for purchasing wall tiles.

I did another some overtime at work. I signed in at the building just after 7am.
I went out in the evening for a meal to celebrate the birthdays of my dad and one of my brothers.

When I arrived home from work I discovered that my dad had laid the floor tiles.
Sunday 13th
I cut the grass for the first time in the year. I had the feeling I was being watched. When I turned round I saw a Robin was behind me. Fortunately there was only one, not like the famous hitchcock film where more and more birds arrived before attacking.
Saturday 12th
I went to the Abundant Life Church in Bradford with several people from church. I had a good chat with serveral of the guys who do the PA there.
Friday 11th
At lunch time the tide was really high and a few waves came over the pierhead. Guess who forgot to bring a camera to work?
Thursday 10th
In the evening when I got the ferry from the "floating landing stage" the tide was seriously low and the landing stage was sitting on the the mud.

At lunch time I saw the Mersey Mammoth lifting containers around the landing stage to make space for the imminant arrival of the sea cat. To get idea of the scale there there is a car ferry in the background and there is a man in yellow standing in front of a white van.
Monday 7th
When I arrived home I found the radiator in my kitchen had moved!
Sunday 6th
I got up early to watch the Australian Grand Prix. Things didn't turn out very well for Ferrari. Michael didn't finish and Barrichello didn't seem very fast.
Saturday 5th
I went into work and did some overtime (I had some urgent things to finish). I was the first person to sign in at the building... 7.20am is early!

When I returned home from work I discovered that I the dish washing facilities are much improved, I have a sink!
Tuesday 1st
As part of renewing my kitchen the old sink is getting replaced with a newer model. When I arrived home from work I discovered my old sink had been removed and I had temporary washing facilities (a bucket) until the new sink was fitted.
