Tuesday 31st
Put the PA back together in the church building.
Advanced Motorist meeting in the evening, I had forgotten about the meeting, but fortunately my parents reminded me.
Mon 30th
Did some shopping.
In the evening went to the gym. Will I manage 3 workouts this week?
Sunday 29th
After the morning church service we started taking the PA apart. My room-mate had a flat tyre on his car so he had to drive home on a space-saver tyre. I drove back to the church building and left the PA equipment there.
Saturday 28th
I took part in a few of the competitions. Knocked out of the table tennis in the first round by the person who went on to win. Took part in the chess competition and was beaten in the final by a teenager. I later found out he had been asked to play for England! I also took part in the "throw the welly competition". Dawn got to the semi-final in both pool and giant outdoor darts. My room-mate arrived in the afternoon. In the evening we had a Karioki.
Friday 27th
Arrived at the church building at around lunch time and picked up the PA equipment. I drove to Quinta without incident. Last year I left late and got seriously lost and arrived late enough to miss the evening meal. We assembled the basic PA equipment in time for the evening ice-breaker game. Dave one of my friends rushed home as his mother-in-law had been taken into hospital. Not sure where the guy I was supposed to be sharing a room is? He hadn't arrived when I went to bed in the evening.
Thursday 26th
Completed sorting out PA for Quinta with Dawn's help. Arranged things in piles according to who is taking them as everything wouldn't fit in my car. The two guitarists were taking their own kit. I was taking the amps the mixing desk. Other people were taking the speakers, microphone stands, music stands etc.
Wednesday 25th
Started setting up PA equipment to take to Quinta.
Tuesday 24th
Purchased some transparent plastic boxes to help keep the church PA room tidy.
Took a picture of the wave sentinel which was in a local ship yard.
Monday 23rd
Interview at 3pm in Sale. I got to the area in plenty of time, but parking seemed a little challenging. I found lots of pay and display spaces but they all seemed to have a maximum stay of one hour. I eventually parked in the Asda car park and walked quickly to the office.
Sunday 22nd
Dawn helped me with some ironing... for the first time in ages the ironing basket was empty.
Saturday 21st
Ladies brunch - Dawn did PA so I didn't have to get up early.
Africa evening at church.
Friday 20th
Picked up Dawn from Colne. Home rather late.
Thursday 19th
The web server where my homepage was located started working again, but I have to rebuild my site from my home backup.
Drove Dawn to her mother's house in Colne. Dawn staying overnight for a party.
Wednesday 18th
I did some gardening - moving a bush for an aunt.
Tuesday 17th
Went walking with Dawn and her Dad near Wrexham. We covered another section of the Offa's Dyke path. I was told that the path goes all the way to South Wales.
Monday 16th
Dawn had a hospital appointment. Unfortunately we managed to go to the wrong hospital! Ooops.
Sunday 15th
Worked on the pictures of the rally I took a few weeks ago.
Saturday 14th
I received a letter from the inland revenue. I had overpaid my tax so I should be getting a small refund (hurrah).
Friday 13th
Signed on at the job centre. I had to show them my bank statements.
Thursday 12th
I went walking with Dave. We parked in Prestatyn at the sea front. We followed the Offa's Dyke path though the high street and up into the hills. This picture shows where we started walking from - the building with the blue roof in the centre of the picture. At the right hand side of the picture is the holiday camp. There is an offshore wind farm several miles out to sea which is just visible at the RHS.

Gym and musicians rehersal.

Monday 9th
I took my car for its annual MOT. My car needed two small plates welding onto the sills. I think I have had my moneys worth from the car as it has been round the clock. Now that it has been welded I will have to start thinking of getting something a bit newer.
Sunday 8th
I went with Dawn to see someone who hasn't been to church for a while. Their washing machine was in a bad way... the door was lying broken on the floor.
Saturday 7th
Spotted an unusual ship berthed in Birkenhead.
Friday 6th
Helped prepare the main hall at the church building for an 80th birthday.
Thursday 5th
Went to a friends for tea. While we were there a light fitting broke in the middle of the room where their children had been a few minutes earlier!
Wednesday 4th
Musicians rehersal.
Tuesday 3rd
Saw the animals at Chester Zoo. I had forgotten how big the elephants were.
Monday 2nd
Went to the church prayer meeting in the evening.
Sunday 1st
Watched several of the Star Trek borg episodes.
