Saturday 31st
While Jenny visited her other daughter Jayne, Dawn and I did some gardening. I cut the grass for the first time this year.
It is only just over a month until Dawn and I get married. We still have lots of things to finalise.

Friday 30th
Before going to work I spotted the Black Prince arriving in the River Mersey.
Dawn's Mum Jenny arrived for an extended weekend. She stayed with Dawn at the flat.

Thursday 29th
In the evening I went to a pre-marriage course.

Wednesday 28th
It was foggy going to work again. This time I didn't have to pause to work out how to turn the lights on. Despite the weather I managed to get back in time for musicians.

Tuesday 27th
It was foggy when I got up for work. I got in the car and wondered to myself "How do I put the head lights on?".

Monday 26th
I arranged for a hire car as my car was going to the garage to get fixed. Someone arrived from the car hire place in a focus. I thought to myself they must have run out of small cars. They took me to the car hire place and filled in all the paperwork. Unfortunately they hadn't run out of cars... my hire car was a Vauxhall Corsa with a 1.4 petrol engine. By the time I got to work it was almost lunch time so I had quite a short work day.

Sunday 25th
I got up at the right time feeling a little tired. I did PA at church because the other chap who does PA wasn't feeling well.

Saturday 24th
Yes the time has almost arrived - clocks go forward tonight so we get an hour less sleep.

Friday 23rd
Chinese meal to celebrate the birthdays of my brother David and my Dad.

Thursday 22nd
It took around two hours to get to work due to traffic.
Marriage course cancelled because the son of one of the other couples was involved in a traffic accident.

Wednesday 21st
Frost on car. Hasn't winter finished yet?

Tuesday 20th

Monday 19th

Sunday 18th
F1 in Melbourne. I recorded the highlighs in the evening.

Saturday 17th
Did some shopping while the car had a new suspension arm fitted.
We went were invited for a roast dinner by friends living in Wallasey. We were originally thinking of going for a walk with them too but we all stayed inside because it was raining.

Friday 16th
Frost on car in the morning. Not good news because it delayed me going to work. I expect it won't be good news for the frog-spawn in the pond either because it often dies if there is a frost.

Thursday 15th
Pre-marriage course at a house in Moreton. Yes we went to the correct address this time.

Wednesday 14th
At musicians there was an earth loop issue or for the non-technical all the PA equipment was buzzing. We suspect it was to do with the roof repairs causing the building to be damp and the dehumidifiers drying out some of the building.

Tuesday 13th
Went to the dentist for a checkup and had a filling. Later in the day I ate a sandwich and there seemed to be a crunchy bit. Guess what it was? It was the new filling coming out.

Monday 12th

Sunday 11th

Saturday 10th
Booked honeymoon.

Friday 9th

Thursday 8th
Dawn house sat all day waiting for a heating engineer to come and repair the central heating heat exchange. Guess what spare part the engineer didn't bring?
Pre-marriage course in the evening. Managed to go to the right house number in the right road in Meols. Unfortunately we were supposed we were supposed to be in Moretone!

Wednesday 7th
Tilly the hamster died.

Tuesday 6th

Monday 5th

Sunday 4th
Did PA at church. Delivered the advanced motorist magazines in the dark. It wasn't much fun when I had trouble reading the house numbers, I will have to make sure it is daylight next time!

Saturday 3rd
The IOMSPs first commercial sailing between Twelve Quays (Birkenhead) and Douglas (Isle of Man) was completed by Ben My Chree .

Friday 2nd
Faxed a timesheet to the agency.

Thursday 1st
I spoke to the agency and they wanted their own format timesheet.
