Friday 27th
Dawn and I went out for a romantic meal at the Albert Dock.

Thursday 26th
A couple of friends - Gail and Graham came for tea. Dawn cooked.

Wednesday 25th
We made it to musicians despite the wedding arrangments being in full flow.

Tuesday 24th
Tea at my parents.

Monday 23rd
We picked up a take-away meal and parked at a romantic spot overlooking the River Mersey. One of Dawns relations rang with some sad news... Dawn's step mother Karen had been taken into a hospice.

Monday 16th
It is getting very close to the wedding (May 5) so I may not have time to make regular entries in the journal for the next few weeks.

Sunday 15th
Bahrain Grand Prix.

Saturday 14th
My parents came for a barbecue.
Silver birch won the grand national. I haven't heard of a tree wining a race before.

Friday 13th
Bought four red mugs to match the decorations we have put up.

Thursday 12th
Oil Service vessel Bourbon Dolphin capsized off the Shetland Islands.

Wednesday 11th
Water supply cut off in Cheadle Hume. Why am I writing this? Guess where I work. We think it was due to the new supermarket being built.

Tuesday 10th
There was traffic chaos on the M53, a lorry had gone through the central reservation. I managed to leave the motorway one junction earlier than usual avoid a lengthy delay. Someone I know from church was stuck there for an hour and a half and their children were not happy.

Monday 9th
Dawn and I got up early on a bank holiday. Why would we do such a thing? We wanted to beat the bank holiday traffic and go to Oulton Park.

Sunday 8th - EASTER SUNDAY
Malaysian Grand Prix. I didn't have time to watch it so I set the highlights to record late in the evening.

Saturday 7th
Dawn started painting the wallpaper. I did some gardening - removing a dead lavataria bush and moving some roses.

Friday 6th - GOOD FRIDAY
We walked around Birkenhead Park where we are planning to have our wedding pictures taken.
We finished wallpapering the master bedroom.

Thursday 5th
Dawn picked up the Oulton Park tickets.
Pre-marriage course at a church members house in Moreton.

Wednesday 4th
I visited Dawn at her flat early in the morning as it was near the car hire place. Took the corsa back to the car hire company. They drove me back home. I drove to work - later than usual in my fiesta.
The postman attempted to deliver the Oulton Park tickets but we were out.
We had tea at the flat.

Tuesday 3rd
My fiesta arrived home!
We had a wedding planning meeting at the church building.

Monday 2nd
Dawn took a picture of Wave Knight while on the way to Liverpool.

Sunday 1st
When I woke up I noticed that the car was glittering in the light. It was coated in a light coat of frost.
We took Jenny for tea at Mum and Dad's. On the way home I was reminded that not all cars are the same when I stopped rather more abruptly than I intended. The brakes on the corsa seem to have more servo assistance than my fiesta.
