Race 12: Jersey to Liverpool
There were two parts to this race. The positions in each part are as follows: Holyhead: 2nd, Liverpool: 1st, giving a final position of 1st.
There were quite a few members of the press at the finish.
Race 11: New York - Jersey

Race 10: Port Anonio - New York
2nd
Race 9: Panama - Port Antonio
2nd
Race 8: Victoria - Panama
7th to the finish line.
Race 7: Qingdao - Victoria
The crew discovered why not many people sail in the north Pacific - hugh swells, low pressure areas, gales and ice formed on the rigging. Two of the crew members saw snow for the first time. Did I mention that the clippers are not equipped with heating? Apparently 6 or 7 layers of clothing is needed to keep the cold at bay and the condensation is making things damp onboard. Two of the crew members are suffering from suspected cracked ribs and several other crew members have sea sickness.
Race 6 Restarted
Western Australia was 9th to arrive in Qingdao.
Race 6
In race six the skipper resigned while the clippers were having their keels fixed at Subic Bay.
On Saturday 18th March it was announced that Mark Preedy will be the new skipper.
On Tuesday 21st March Western Australia was lowered back into the water. Now all the clippers are back in the water preparations can begin for the next race.
Race 5
In race five (Fremantle to Singapore) western australia was 2nd pass the finish line. The race winner, Durban was less than an hour ahead.
Race 4
I expect there are lots of people cheering in Australia when they came third.
