News - Story - Riverdance

On January 31 Riverdance a roro ferry was travelling across the Irish Sea from Warren Point to Heysham on a rough crossing. Trailers on the upper deck were chained in position. The ship was hit by a freak wave and started listing badly.

The ship ran aground at the North Shore Blackpool and has become a tourist attaction.
