Ships enter the Birkenhead/Wallasey Docks carefully via lock gates going past at least 1 openning bridge.

On Wednesday March 22nd, I heard that a ship had got closer than usual to the Four Bridges crossing.

On Thursday March 23rd I went to look at the bridge. I wasn't able to use the footbridge because it was closed.

When I looked closer I saw that the railings had been badly bent out of position, some of the brackets at the base of the railings seemed to be missing and a large hole seemed to have appeared in the footway.

To test the reader I took pictures of two ships, which one do you think caused the damage?
