Canopy vents
As soon as I started using bigger batteries than standard, and the flight times started to increase, the main motor heated up. Believing that heat isn't good for electric motors, I ventilated the canopy a bit. This was a delicate process, the plastic is thin and wobbly! I used a Dremel with a thin Permagrit rotary rasp, keeping my hands as well braced on the bench as possible.

Did it work? Well it passed the "finger test" and the motor didn't smell as much.
