Bishop Ramsey School Past-Pupils Contact Page - this is my old school in Ruislip, Middlesex, England. The web-page has been created to enable past-pupils to contact each other by email. It contains a list of past-pupils' email addresses and their current location. Now resides on the ClockTowerWeb server. So, what's easyJet actually like then? - easyJet are a cost-effective (=cheap) UK airline; what are they really like to fly with? Diana, Princess of Our Hearts - a poem. A Visitor's Guide to Baku, Azerbaijan - a guide for first-time visitors to this city. |
About me...In my spare time I play badminton, squash and tennis and drink real beer, normally visiting the Great British Beer Festival (when allowed out). I also like listening to the radio. I don't watch much TV these days, except Fraiser and Friends. I listen to music by people like Everything But The Girl and James Taylor (the singer, not the group). I studied electronic and electrical engineering at The University of Surrey, where I learned all there is to know about drinking in the University of Surrey Students' Union. I am a member of the Surrey graduates email group among others. |

Some miscellaneous links.....Photographers and others will find the UK sunrise/sunset times page useful Going on a plane soon? Then don't read the Aviation Safety Web Pages An excellent Classical music site by another Paul Baker! UK Telephone Code Locator - you know the code but you don't know where it is based - this will tell you, includes mobiles Received a strange email that you think may be a hoax? Take a look at this hoax alerts page McSpotlight Home Page - excellent fun, about everybody's Mc-favourite burger chain A very well produced UK National Lottery page You can check out UK train timetables here Nokia make fine mobile telecoms products, especially base stations... INMARSAT, the INternational MARitime SATellite organisation - learn all about Inmarsat mobile satellite terminals, which have been used by people like Terraquest who are into virtual tourism on the web, including trips to the Antarctic and the Galapagos Islands Create amusing anagrams using the name of your boss at The Anagram Genius Server - it came up with 'rat on a lanky pube' for me... |
And a few icons to finish off...I am currently helping Team Locust crack RC5, an RSA encryption system which is considered uncrackable. There are 2^64 combinations. The chaps at Distributed Computing Technologies Inc. have created client applications for most platforms that share the work of trying all those combinations and use the web to communicate with their server to 'tick off' the combinations checked. This way, work is not repeated and the processing power of all those computers in the world sitting there showing screen savers is harnessed! You can see my statistics here. Clever, huh! Take a look and get involved... |
| This site is... This is a worthy campaign to promote web page writing for any browsers, avoiding features which are spcific to a particular application. I have tried to write my pages accordingly. |
