About the Club

Langholm is the oldest Rugby Club in the Scottish Borders. Founded in 1871, with encouragement by the Scotts of Waverley Mill, it is now in its 130th year. The 1st XV play in the 2nd Division, National League and in the Border League. The team boasts a proud record, including a record season, 1958-59, which saw the 1st XV emerge as unbeaten Border League and Scottish Champions.
