Let me tell you something about myself.
I am 'Tiger Lily', a Swift 18 - that is an 18 foot yacht with a retractable keel, four berths, cooker and loo. This makes it nice and cosy for the crew inside. I can sail at about 4.5 knots, but carry a 4Hp engine called 'Puke' to help when the wind goes light.
As you
can see I also have a pair of wheels, which means that I can get to faraway
places pretty quickly. Crossing the channel is no problem inside a P&O ferry
and getting to the Mediterranean takes me about 2 or 3 days (sure beats those
bigger boats which have to sail via Gibraltar).

If you want to know more about trailer sailing, then I hope to have some
more notes here shortly. In the meantime, you might like to take a look at some
of my holiday log books (txt files written by the Skipper):
Fair winds and gentle seas to you wherever you are sailing next.
